  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOUSTON! When I moved to Houston in 1985, I hated it. I didn’t know anyone, there wasn’t a decent bowl of Gumbo to be found, and I thought it was an ugly city. Over the years, the city definitely started to grow on me, especially when I realized there was no viable way out, as my whole family was here and our careers were here. Fast forward to 2000, when I fell into the Relocation Industry. Since then, much of what I have done could easily be described as being a cheerleader for the city. I have spent the past 18 years speaking to thousands of people about their move to Houston. It’s been truly interesting to see the city through their eyes. And the one thing that they all say, is how nice everyone is here, which is absolutely true!
