Fort Bend attracts businesses and highly skilled workforce

Last year was certainly a big year for Fort Bend County in terms of the companies that relocated or expanded operations, bringing many new jobs into the area.

The outlook for this year remains very strong, according to Jeff Wiley, president/CEO of the Greater Fort Bend Economic Development Council.  According to Wiley, the organization is focused on four primary things to encourage quality growth in the community: business recruitment and retention, business climate, infrastructure sufficient to sustain growth, and solutions to challenges the community may face.
